Hall, Stairs and Landing - Painting

(07/08/2016) We've started painting the hall, stairs and landing. There's a long way to go but we've made a good start.

This might be a bit bright!

We've also done two coats on the ceiling!! Not bad for a day's work.

(10/08/16) In one day we've painted both coats of blue on the wall. We are exhausted but it was worth it.

(11/08/16) and to finish off the furniture is being put back in.

(13/08/16) The art has been hung!

Here are our beautiful new lights now fully installed (and not half hanging from the ceiling). They were quite a drama. One shade was already in the house, the other we found on eBay - I cannot believe we managed to find one the same! Then we had to buy some new brass connectors, but when they arrived they were too big for the lampshades and so I had to buy new lampshade ring and rewire the lights. After that we couldn't install them with the old ceiling rose and ended up shattering a bulb by dropping it down the stairs! Thankfully Dad came to help with the last bit. They cast a lovely pattern on the walls.

(01/05/2017) Today we have fitted the hooks for the hallway. Not long now until the floor cones so we should make an effort to finish these things off.
