A New Front Door

(31/05/2018) We decided that the number of woodworking jobs was increasing and so we should just have someone come to do the lot. This included the skirting in the study and the internal doors for the study and bathroom, the louvre doors on the cupboard and the front door.

The front door used to be a solid chunk of wood and blocked out huge amounts of light. We’ve replaced it by Mum and Dad’s old porch door.

Here it is before in the same lovely beige colour that everything in the house was painted.

And here’s the new door.


We’ve covered the door with a window film and the reason for the patch on the right is just us deliberating whether to do the right panels or not.
